About Department:

Department of Zoology is a key department in the science stream of the college. Sixty seats are available in each class/semester.

The department has a laboratory along with a small museum and provides access to quality text books. Zoology was introduced as a subject in 2015 at B. Sc. level. Currently undergraduate classes are running in the department. Hopefully, PG classes will commence soon.

The UGC prescribed syllabus is being put into practice in the form of semester and annual system, affiliated to the Shri Dev Suman Uttarakhand Vishwavidyalaya, Badshahithaul, Tehri Garhwal.

Course- The B Sc students are taught basic as well as advance zoology. The type study of animals, invertebrates and vertebrates; physiology, ethology, anatomy, morphology, embryology, ecology, biometry, evolution etc are the key fields.
